DANCEHAUSpiù

DANCEHAUSpiù is the National Dance Production Center based in Milan, founded in 2011 from the desire to increase and unify the objectives and skills of three consolidated realities in the sector: DanceHaus Susanna Beltrami , the ContART Association directed by Matteo Bittante and the ArtedanzaE20 Association directed by Annamaria Onetti.
Since 2015, the Center has received grants for its promotional and public education activities from the City of Milan, the Lombardy Region, and the MIC, which in 2018 recognized it as a Production Center, the fourth in Italy.
The DANCEHAUSpiù project is supported for the three-year period 2022-2024 by the MiC, the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan.
Today DANCEHAUSpiù plays an important role at a national level in the development of contemporary dance , supporting and hosting productions , residency programs, national and international networks and choreographic showcases such as EXISTER.

The Center supports the production, promotion and presentation of the works of the resident companies : Compagnia Susanna Beltrami, DanceHaus Company and DanceHaus Company Junior, made up of dancers graduated from the DanceHaus Academies . Through co-productions, it also supports the Associated Artists: Erika Silgoner / ESKLAN , Paola Lattanzi, Pietro Marullo, Annalì Rainoldi , at the national and international level, and supports the young generations of artists and choreographers duo nux , Franchina|Leone, Vidavè, Giulia Menti, Michela Priuli.
Each year we develop an integrated program that includes the production and hosting of shows, choreographic show formats, seminars, and workshops. In keeping with current cultural trends, we also offer cross-disciplinary experiences such as artistic residencies for young companies, collaborations with design and fashion, ties with universities and the local community, and the creation of national and international networks.

This open and multidisciplinary project, inspired by the French Choreographic Centres and the European Houses of Dance, aims to give voice to different artistic experiences connected to the language of dance and other media, catalyse new collaborations with cultural and social entities, act as an incubator for innovative projects dedicated to young choreography and continue to act in a targeted way to involve and educate the public .
